It's All About Community!
A quick video giving you insight into the world of bellydance! The bellydance community is full of mutually supportive aspects. My favorite of these is the hafla. Hafla is the Arabic word for "party" and that's the feel of most haflas. Its a chance for dancers to dance for other dancers and hang out! Be Empowered!
Happy New Year! I wanted to share this video with everyone. If you haven't seen it yet, it is a cover of the song "Team" by Lorde sung by Rotana Tarabzouni. This beautiful song was a tribute to all of the women who broke the unofficial ban on women driving in Saudi Arabia on October 26th of last year. The Power of Bellydance
